It is with great enthusiasm that I extend a heartfelt welcome to the 2025–2026 school year to all our students, parents/guardians, staff, and community stakeholders as we begin this academic journey together. As the newly appointed principal, I am excited to join this vibrant community and to have each of you on board. Your unique skills, talents, and fresh perspectives will undoubtedly enrich our school, and I am eager to witness the positive contributions you will make.

This year, we have several innovative projects and initiatives planned. Your insights and creative ideas will be invaluable as we strive to provide the best educational experience for our students. I encourage you to approach your work with enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and a collaborative spirit.

Greetings Whispering Pines Family!!!

I am elated to return to WPS for the 25-26 school year as your Assistant Principal. This is my 18th year in education and my second year serving in an administrative role at the school. My career spans Broward, Miami-Dade, and Clayton County Public Schools. I have taught and been in leadership positions at general education schools, alternative schools, and center schools.

I am originally from Jersey City, New Jersey and came to South Florida to attend college at Florida Memorial University. I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and continued my education at Nova Southeastern University. I earned a master’s degree in Instructional leadership. I decided in 2015 to pursue administration and went back to school for my Ed. Specialist in Educational Leadership.

I believe in a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. My amazing staff and I work to create goals for the school to ensure that students are provided with services that meet their individual needs.

In addition to a new school year, I am elated to be under the guidance and leadership of our new principal Dr. Howard Jones. His wealth of experience and passion for education will continue the growth and development of Whispering Pines. I look forward to a great year.
